NINE MORE TO GO!!!

Hello everyone,

Can you believe it? Only NINE more radiation sessions to go! I am smiling while saying that. I can smell the West Virginia air. Oh, I forgot, it doesn't smell so good. LOL I don't care, I am ready, oh so ready, to come HOME! I am feeling really good today and no pain. Thank you again Jesus! I am eating like I always do except no peanuts or crackers. Food like that is too rough going down. I haven't had to take any pain medicine so far. God is so good! All the time!

We started taking pictures off the walls and packing boxes today. I am getting really excited about coming home. We will be packed and ready to go. Larry is driving home by himself so please say a prayer for him. That is a long 20 hour drive by yourself. He is a good driver but I will still worry about him. Diesel, my dog, is riding with him. I don't think the dog will help keep him awake though. Diesel can't drive yet he is only three. LOL

I am going to take the kids this weekend to get their Easter pictures taken. Their dresses aren't the same but they match. Hailey has a cute hair bow and a bracelet. Morgan has a purse and a hat. I want their pictures to be back before we come home.

I can't believe that Mandisa was voted off American Idol tonight. I thought Bucky or Ace would go first. My favorite is still Chris and Larry says Taylor will win. What do you all think? Who is your favorite American Idol?

Please pray for a guy named Blake. He is currently taking radiation along with me at the same place. He is only 23 years old and has lymphoma in his neck. He told me yesterday that he is in a lot of pain because of the radiation. He can't swallow and the pain medicine isn't helping.

Keep praying for my total healing! God Bless!!

Stay Godstrong!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!!! I'm so glad I had already watched American Idol last night!! We TiVo it because Jay works nights and we watch it together the next morning. But I stayed up and watched and was SHOCKED about Mandisa!! Actually the entire bottom three surprised me. Chris and Taylor are my favorites, but I've developed a soft spot for Bucky, too. I thought out of the women that Mandisa had the best voice. I guess now my favorite would be Katherine. What a show! Simon had predicted the final three would be down to Chris, Taylor and Kelli and there they were, grouped together last night. I wouldn't have thought going in that Kelli would do that well, but she's been improving each week.

Boy, that's a lot of Idol talk -- but you asked for it! LOL!

It's great to hear you're feeling good and not in pain -- and thinking of being HOME SOON! Yay!!

Love,
Sarah

Good morning family,

Tami i believe it's your faith that keeps you feeling so good. We are so proud of you!

I was shocked that Mandisa got kicked off last night. I thought it would be the little 16yr old girl. I love Chris, i think he will be our american idol.

Well, Tami can you belive I am going to be an Avon Rep? lol
I am addicted to Avon!

Can't wait til you guys come home, we have so much to do. Yard sales, shopping, swimming, shopping, cooking out, shopping, church, shopping, going to dinner, shopping.

Hello,

Glad things are going well and you are starting to pack. thats got to be a great feeling.

Mandisa...what a surprise I really thought she would last longer. I really liked her. I thought she had one of the best voices. However, her song on Tuesday was not very good...the only one I remember her doing poorly with. I really thought it would be Bucky or the guy who was in the bottom three. I cant ever remember his name, i just call him the troll looking guy...I know thats not very nice. Chris really is my favorite person on the show. I hope he makes it to be the idol. Maybe I should actually start voting.:)

Take care and I will pray for the 23 year old guy. So young!

Love
Shelli

I'm glad you're doing great. With your faith and positive attitude you can't help but do well. I bet you've never been so excited to pack up and move in your life. That's usually the one thing that most people could live without.

I too, was a little shocked at Mandisa getting the boot. But I thought her song was awful. I hate the fact that she was kicked off because shes not Kellie or Bucky but they say make sure you get the right song picked. She could have done what Kathryn did pick a song and blues it up. I was a little scared for Taylor Hicks, I love to listen to him, he makes me smile, but he was sooooooo bad on that song. But I voted for him anyway. Couldn't let him leave just because he had a bad day.

I could go on and on about American Idol so I'm going to force myself to stop and get back to work.

Have a great day!!!

Hi Tami,
I like Chris and Kathryn. I liked Mandisa and was kind of surprised that she was voted off; however, they haven't been their best for the last two weeks so it could have been any number of them based on performance lately. I also like Taylor; not real crazy about Paris especially when she talks. Sorry that was probably mean....
:-) If you can't say something nice.......

I'm glad you are feeling good and will get to come home soon. We have a baby to spoil.

Take care,
Twila St.Clair (Scott's mom)

Tami,

You may call Mrs. Avon now. he he he he I met with Joyce last night, she is so nice. Call me when you get time.
Gary and I are going to take the bike this weekend to get it serviced so we will be ready for bike week! I cant wait to be a Harley mama. The last time we went was the year Chris was killed:( that is bringing back so many memories, my poor little Christy. I wish she would find her a good man, I hate that she is so alone.
Enough of that sad stuff.

Tell joy to get that stuff packed and you gets get home.

Tonya...i cant believe you don't watch Idol!

Love you guys,
Teresa toe nails

WAHOOOO Tami is coming home soon....
Okay Mandisa is gone because we didnt vote for her and she had THE female voice- and okay I appreciated the big girl part....
Now I am still torn between Ace and Chris- so I am voting to get them in the finals.....but please how is Bucky still there? He must have a big home team voting bigtime. All in all I am always amazed at how all of them have great bravery and talent....you couldnt pay me to sing in front of people seriously.....

Tami I am so looking forward to a hug....see you before we realize it.
God Bless and watch over your trip home.

Tami, we are praising God that you are not having throat pain. He has heard our prayers. Thank You, Jesus. We will sure pray for Blake.

Will and I are practicing dancing at your party. We are looking forward to seeing all of you. By the way, WV smells pretty good this time of year with all the trees and flowers blooming. Whenever I take Mom to Duke, I am so grateful to return to these hills.

Have a wonderful week. Love and prayers.

Hey Tami, I just found your blog. You and your family caught the American Idol Bug too huh? My husband and I favor Chris to win. I think his sideburns look like the Methodist Church flame. (but that's not why we like him)
I found you while searching for mention of lymphoma in blogs. I have a friend who was just diagnosed Friday with lymphoma. It makes me feel a little better to read about how well you are doing. I'm really worried for him. I've never had anyone close to me get cancer. I don't know how to think about it without being upset. I'm going to keep reading your blog if you are ok with that. You can drop by my blog. It usually is pretty random. Bye!
